【Ａｐｐｌｅ】iPod nanoの1GBモデルの発売
アップルコンピュータ株式会社は7日、オーディオプレーヤー「iPod nano」の1GBモデルの発売を開始した。AppleStore価格は17,800円。
メモリ容量以外のスペックは9月より発売されているiPod nano 2GB/4GBモデルと共通で、ボディカラーもブラックとホワイトの2色が用意される。2GB/4GBモデルのAppleStore価格は従来通り21,800円(2GB)/27,800円(4GB)。
LEDバックライト付き解像度176×132ドットの1.5インチカラー液晶を搭載し、操作系もiPodやiPod miniとおなじClick Wheelを搭載。iTunesを使用して、写真を変換/転送、iPod nano上で閲覧できる。ドックコネクタを装備し、ヘッドフォンジャックも、ドックコネクタと同じ底面に備えている。
再生フォーマットはAAC、MP3、WAV、Audible、Apple Lossless、AIFF。バッテリは内蔵リチウムイオンで、再生時間は14時間、スライドショー再生時間は4時間。外形寸法は40×90×6.9mm(幅×縦×厚み)、重量は約42g。
アップルのワールドワイドプロダクトマーケティングiPod担当バイスプレジデント グレッグ・ジョズウィアック氏は「新しい1GBモデルにより、さらに多くの人々にお買い求めいただけるようになった。これからは、さらに多くの音楽ファンにiPodとiTunesの組み合わせだけが実現できる、比類ない体験を提供できる」と述べている。
